About this job
Non-union electrician thinking about union work? This is a path to join IBEW Local Union No. 257 as a Journeyman Wireman or Journeyman Technician through a NECA member contractor in central Missouri.
NECA Recruiting will source and screen you, then — with your okay — send your resume and credentials to a member contractor. The contractor interviews, decides, offers, and handles onboarding and the union process.
What you will do
Inside electrical work in the Local 257 area. The exact project, work type, and schedule depend on the contractor and the opening — your contractor will cover those details in the interview. This posting is for Inside work, not residential dwelling work, which is covered by a separate Residential Addendum with different rates.
Requirements
Journeyman-level electrical experience. Share how many years you have worked in the trade, and any exam pass, JATC certification, or hours in the trade.
Share any licenses, certifications, and work history with your application.
Willing to go through the contractor interview and the union hall process.
Pay shown is the Inside Journeyman rate as listed in the agreement. It is not a promise of a specific contractor, start date, or referral group — the contractor and the hall determine the final classification and group.

3. With your okay, your resume and credentials go to a member contractor.
