Education Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, vocational school, or equivalent technical training preferred
• Journeyman Electrician License required
• Additional electrical, industrial maintenance, or controls training is a plus
• Strong understanding of electrical safety standards and NEC requirements

Experience Requirements

• Proven experience installing and troubleshooting industrial electrical systems
• Experience with electrical system integration, installation, and commissioning
• Experience wiring industrial control panels, machinery, and production equipment
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layout drawings
• Experience using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Experience with motor controls, VFDs, breakers, disconnects, and protective devices
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet project deadlines
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to lift, carry, and handle tools, materials, and equipment as required
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in industrial environments
• Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and around electrical equipment when necessary
• Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift

Job Duties

• Install, terminate, and route wiring for industrial control panels, equipment, and electrical systems
• Bend, thread, and install rigid conduit systems
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and wiring diagrams
• Troubleshoot electrical circuits, components, and equipment using meters and diagnostic tools
• Install breakers, disconnects, motor controls, and electrical protection devices
• Support equipment startup, testing, commissioning, and system integration activities
• Ensure all electrical work complies with NEC standards and company safety requirements
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate project status effectively
• Work collaboratively with engineering, maintenance, and production teams to support operational goals
