Are you a seasoned Journeyman Electrician ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role in the construction industry? We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our dynamic team. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from residential to commercial and industrial, where your expertise in electrical systems will be highly valued. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, ensuring that work is in accordance with relevant codes. This is a permanent, full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.

Responsibilities:

As a Journeyman Electrician, your main duties will include:

1. Reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and schematics to ensure proper installation of electrical systems.
2. Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems while observing all safety laws and regulations.
3. Performing conduit bending and installation, switchgear installation & terminations, and feeder installation & terminations.
4. Conducting electrical troubleshooting and diagnostics to identify and fix electrical issues.
5. Pulling, routing, or pushing wires through conduit to complete circuits between boxes.
6. Inspecting, troubleshooting, and conducting tests for electrical systems to ensure systems are working effectively and safely.
7. Collaborating with the team to plan and execute large-scale projects.
8. Ensuring compliance with building regulations based on the National Electric Code and local codes.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A valid Journeyman Electrician license.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Journeyman Electrician in the construction industry.
3. Proficient knowledge of conduit bending & installation, switchgear installation & terminations, blueprint reading & electrical schematics, electrical troubleshooting & diagnostics.
4. Experience with wire pulling, feeder installation & terminations.
5. Strong understanding of electrical procedures, materials, specifications, and safety codes.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to perform complex electrical calculations.
7. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team.
8. Physically fit and able to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
9. Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
10. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
