Joint Fires Network Engineer

Responsibilities: for the Joint Fires Network Engineer include: Execute network operations including configuration and analysis of circuits across routers, switches, and optical transport systems Perform real-time circuit rerouting and network restoration during outages or maintenance events Monitor network alarms and proactively troubleshoot issues using enterprise network management tools Document and manage incidents, outages, and resolutions throughout the full lifecycle of network events Collaborate with internal teams, government stakeholders, and engineering partners to maintain high network availability Required Qualifications for the Joint Fires Network Engineer include: 4+ years of experience in network operations, transport networks, or IP networking (or equivalent combination of education/experience) Strong experience with routers, switches, routing protocols, MPLS, optical transport, and network troubleshooting Ability to operate in a 24x7 shift environment with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE) Qualifications: for the Joint Fires Network Engineer include: 4+ years of experience in network operations, transport networks, or IP networking (or equivalent combination of education/experience) Strong experience with routers, switches, routing protocols, MPLS, optical transport, and network troubleshooting Ability to operate in a 24x7 shift environment with strong analytical and problem-solving skills Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE) Compensation: for the Joint Fires Network Engineer include: Salary Range: $80,000-$120,000 Full Benefits Package: PTO, Paid Holidays, Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Sick leave as required by law #LI-JB1
