Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Completion of an accredited Home Health Aide program preferred.
- Active HHA certification/license preferred.
- Physically capable of performing assigned caregiving duties.
- Ability to safely handle body fluids and other potentially hazardous materials.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Meets all applicable personnel and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect personal care services in the client's home under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Follow individualized care plans and assigned care instructions.
- Maintain a safe environment and utilize proper safety procedures while delivering care.
- Observe and report changes in a client's condition, behavior, or needs to the supervising nurse.
- Document services provided accurately and submit required records promptly.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and healthcare team members.
- Support clients with daily living activities while promoting comfort, dignity, and independence.
- Adhere to all state regulations and company policies governing the Home Health Aide role.
