John Deere Equipment Technician

Express Employment Professionals of Everett is recruiting a skilled Turf Equipment Service Technician for a company in Snohomish serving landscaping and grounds maintenance customers.

This position is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, knows John Deere equipment, and who enjoys troubleshooting equipment, working independently, and providing excellent customer service in both shop and field environments.

Pay: $30.00 - $38.00/hr DOE

Location: Snohomish County, WA

Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair commercial turf and grounds maintenance equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance and equipment inspections.
• Prepare new equipment for delivery and customer use.
• Travel to customer locations to perform onsite service calls and repairs as needed.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and engine-related issues.
• Maintain accurate service records and work orders.
• Keep tools, equipment, and work areas organized and in safe working condition.
• Work closely with the service team to prioritize repairs and maintain workflow.
• Follow company safety procedures and maintain a professional appearance when interacting with customers.
• Assist with other service-related duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidate

• Minimum 2 years of experience servicing John Deere equipment or similar commercial outdoor power equipment
• Solid mechanical and technical troubleshooting abilities
• Experience working with engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, or related equipment
• Ability to work independently and manage field service assignments
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Basic hand tools required

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a routine basis
• Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling, and carrying
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
