Job Shop CNC Milling Technician Setup & Prototype

• Small, established shop in Uniontown, PA where your setup chops matter.
• Haas VF-4 and VF-11 are your daily drivers; occasional variety across industries keeps things interesting.
• Not an entry-level operator jobyoure setting up, running, troubleshooting, and delivering quality with minimal oversight.

What Youll Tackle

• Full setups on Haas VMCs; adjust offsets, make basic program edits, and select the right tooling.
• Read blueprints/technical drawings and work from CAD/CAM outputs to hit required tolerances.
• Switch gears quickly as priorities shift; keep small batches and custom parts moving.
• Inspect work using GD&T; maintain a clean, safe, organized area.
• Diagnose issuessetup, tooling, quality, or machineand resolve them.

Must-Haves

• 5+ years of CNC machining with strong mill setup experience.
• Haas VMC background strongly preferred; job shop experience strongly preferred.
• Comfortable with G-code, offsets, tooling, troubleshooting.
• Blueprint reading and inspection skills that inspire confidence.
• Works independently after learning our customers and workflow.

Nice-to-Haves

• CAD/CAM or programming (Autodesk Fusion 360).
• Lead, supervisory, or mentoring experience.
• Manual machining skills.

Schedule & Compensation

• First shift, MondayFriday, 6:30/7:00am3:30pm
• $30$35/hour, negotiable based on experience
• Overtime: typically 210 hours most weeks
