Key Responsibilities:
- Review and negotiate change orders with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations and legal requirements. Monitor project progress and manage contract changes and amendments.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure alignment between contract terms and project execution.
- Resolve disputes and claims related to contracts in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of contracts, correspondence, and project documentation.
- Provide guidance and support to project teams on contract-related issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Engineering, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
- Ability to quantify changes to a construction contract by means of performing construction drawing take-offs, researching contract terms and engineering specifications, and performing CPM delay analyses.
- Proven experience as a Contract Manager in the natural gas/LNG, utility, or industrial construction industries.
- Strong knowledge of construction contracts, laws, and regulations.
- Strong knowledge of CPM schedule methodology.
- Excellent business and legal writing skills.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Proficient in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite
