The ideal candidate will have experience building JMeter test scripts, analyzing performance bottlenecks, and collaborating with development and infrastructure teams to ensure application reliability and performance.

Position Summary
Seeking a JMeter Performance Test Engineer to design, develop, and execute performance, load, stress, and scalability testing for enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have experience building JMeter test scripts, analyzing performance bottlenecks, and collaborating with development and infrastructure teams to ensure application reliability and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute performance test plans using Apache JMeter.
- Create and maintain reusable test scripts for web services, APIs, and web applications.
- Conduct load, stress, endurance, and volume testing.
- Analyze test results and identify performance bottlenecks across application, database, and infrastructure layers.
- Work closely with developers, DevOps, and QA teams to troubleshoot and resolve performance issues.
- Prepare performance reports with recommendations for optimization.
- Support CI/CD integration of performance testing activities.
- 3+ years of performance testing experience.
- Hands-on expertise with Apache JMeter.
- Experience testing REST/SOA APIs and web applications.
- Strong understanding of performance metrics, monitoring, and tuning.
- Experience with SQL and database performance analysis.
- Familiarity with tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana, or similar monitoring platforms.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation practices.
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Knowledge of LoadRunner, BlazeMeter, Gatling, or similar performance testing tools.
