We are looking to hire an experienced Jet Truck Driver to join our team!
Responsibilities:
Operate a jet truck to clean sewer lines, storm drains, and catch basins using high-pressure water systems.
Remove debris, solids, and blockages from pipelines and drainage systems.
Perform routine cleaning of lines at various depths and distances.
Assist with basic maintenance of underground utilities and drainage systems.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment and vehicles.
Maintain and service jet truck (fueling, fluid checks, minor maintenance, etc.).
Ensure equipment is properly cleaned, stored, and maintained.
Follow designated routes and job assignments to complete work efficiently.
Communicate with supervisors and crew members regarding job progress and site conditions.
Set up and maintain proper traffic control as needed.
Use appropriate safety equipment and follow all safety procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized job site.
Assist crew members with general labor duties as needed.
Complete basic daily logs and documentation of work performed.
Follow all company policies, DOT regulations, and traffic laws.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Experience operating a jet truck or similar heavy equipment preferred
Basic knowledge of sewer, storm, and drainage systems
Ability to work in a team environment and follow directions
Strong attention to safety and detail
Ability to work in varying weather conditions and physical environments
Mechanical aptitude for basic equipment maintenance
Good communication skills
Valid Class A or B CDL required with a clean driving record
Ability to pass pre-employment screenings, including drug test
Education and Experience:
Education: High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
