    Job Outline: Full time position afternoon shift, Monday to Friday from 12pm until 8:30pm. Seeking a dependable, skilled Maintenance Technicianto perform general maintenance, repairs, and facility upkeep. The ideal candidate will have strong handyman skills and be comfortable handling a variety of building maintenance tasks, including light plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall and general repairs.

    The successful candidate should be a hands-on problem solver who can work independently, prioritize maintenance needs, and complete work safely and professionally.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Perform general building and facility maintenance and repairs.
    • Complete handyman tasks including basic carpentry, drywall, painting, patching, hardware installation, and repairs.
    • Perform light plumbing repairs, including faucets, toilets, drains, valves, leaks, and minor fixture replacements.
    • Perform light electrical work, including replacing switches, outlets, light fixtures, bulbs, and other basic electrical components within the scope of applicable regulations.
    • Troubleshoot and repair doors, locks, hinges, cabinets, furniture, and other building components.
    • Conduct routine inspections of buildings, equipment, and facilities to identify maintenance needs.
    • Respond to maintenance requests and complete work orders in a timely manner.
    • Assist with preventative maintenance programs.
    • Perform minor repairs and adjustments to facility equipment.
    • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas.
    • Maintain an inventory of commonly used tools, parts, and supplies.
    • Follow all applicable safety procedures and regulations.
    • Work with outside contractors and service providers when specialized repairs are required.
    • Perform other maintenance duties as assigned.

    Commercial HVAC experience is preferred. Candidates with HVAC experience may assist with:

    • Routine inspection and preventative maintenance of commercial HVAC systems.
    • Basic troubleshooting of heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning equipment.
    • Filter replacement and routine system maintenance.
    • Identifying HVAC issues and coordinating repairs with qualified HVAC contractors when necessary.
    • Monitoring equipment operation and reporting potential problems before they become major repairs.

    Requirements:

    • Previous experience in facility maintenance, building maintenance, handyman work, or a similarposition.
    • Strong general repair and troubleshooting skills.
    • Working knowledge of basic plumbing and electrical systems.
    • Commercial HVAC experience is preferred but not required.
    • Ability to use common hand and power tools safely.
    • Ability to read and follow basic instructions, equipment manuals, and maintenance procedures.
    • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Good communication and organizational skills.
    • Reliable transportation and attendance and a strong work ethic.
    • Valid driver's license preferred/required as applicable to the position.
