Jerome Home is excited to expand our nursing leadership team by adding a second RN Nursing Supervisor on our 3:00 PM-11:00 PM shift.
This unique leadership opportunity provides enhanced support for staff, residents, and families by placing two Nursing Supervisors on evenings, allowing supervisors to focus on clinical excellence, staff development, and exceptional resident care rather than working alone.

Position Summary
The RN Nursing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily nursing operations of the facility during the assigned shift. Working closely with the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing, you will provide clinical leadership, support nursing staff, coordinate resident care, and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations.

- Supervise and support nursing staff during the assigned shift

- Participate in quality improvement and risk management activities

Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation experience preferred
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills

Qualifications
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing (RN) program.
Experience
- Minimum of one year of nursing experience in a hospital, long-term care, rehabilitation, skilled nursing, or other healthcare setting preferred.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience is a plus.
Licensure & Professional Requirements
- Current, active, and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Connecticut.
- Strong clinical knowledge of nursing practices, standards of care, and applicable federal, state, and local regulations related to long-term care.
- Ability to assess situations, exercise sound clinical judgment, and make independent decisions when appropriate.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead, coach, and support nursing staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with residents, families, physicians, staff, visitors, and regulatory agencies.
- Ability to plan, organize, implement, and evaluate nursing services and operational objectives.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care while promoting dignity, respect, and quality of life.
- Willingness to embrace continuous learning, professional development, and evidence-based nursing practices.
- Ability to clearly communicate resident conditions, concerns, and care needs both verbally and in writing.
