Description
Job Title: Sanitation Supervisor
Location: Green Bay
Reporting to: Sanitation Superintendent
Salary Range: $60,000-$80,000
Essential Job Functions:
- Oversee and direct all sanitation activities to ensure the facility, equipment, and tools are cleaned and sanitized according to company, USDA, and regulatory standards.
- Lead, train, and schedule sanitation team members, ensuring proper execution of cleaning procedures and safe work practices
- Conduct pre-op and post-op inspections to verify sanitation effectiveness and document compliance for food safety audits.
- Monitor chemical usage, cleaning methods, and equipment performance, ensuring appropriate concentrations, handling, and maintenance.
- Respond promptly to sanitation-related issues during and after cleaning shifts, troubleshooting problems to maintain readiness for production.
- Maintain accurate sanitation records, including checklists, logs, corrective actions, and audit documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, reinforcing PPE use, lockout/tagout procedures, and safe chemical handling throughout sanitation operations.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support the Operations Team.
Experience Required:
- 1 or more years of previous supervisory experience with leadership skills of 20+ employees preferred.
- Food, or manufacturing industry experience is a plus.
Skills/Abilities Required:
- Effective communication both orally and in writing
- capable of independent decision making
- must have basic computer knowledge
- strong organizational skills and acute attention to detail
- ability to manage multiple priorities
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
