Overview:
A private and warm family in Coconut Grove, Miami is seeking an experienced full-time housekeeper to upkeep their home with warmth and discretion. The household is a family of 3, including an 18 year old son, in a home of approximately 5,000 square feet with a small French bulldog. This is a live out position, Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:30pm, with some flexibility to 8:00am to 6:00pm. The start date is as soon as possible. The family travels often, so there will be times they are away and the home needs a trusted person to look after it.
Responsibilities:
- Keep the entire home cleaned, tidied and in excellent order
- Serve as the main point of contact for the home, coordinating with the family's manager and the gentleman who cares for the property 3 to 4 times a week
- Work alongside the part-time laundress so the household runs smoothly
- Help care for the family dog, including walks when needed
- Watch over the home and house sit while the family is traveling
- Light meal prep
Qualifications:
- Warm, welcoming, humble and discreet
- Genuinely happy to be in the home and excited to work
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Dependable and comfortable working independently
- Able to coordinate with other household staff
- Must be comfortable around a small size dog and willing to assist as needed
Requirements:
- 5 years minimum experience as a housekeeper in a private home
- Commute of 30 minutes or less
- Background check required
