Java Technical Lead (Smalltalk)
Location:
Jersey City, NJ (Fully On-Site)
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Java Technical Lead with strong hands-on expertise in Smalltalk and object-oriented programming. The role focuses on understanding and modernizing legacy systems, translating business requirements into technical designs, and supporting application migration initiatives. This position requires close client interaction, strong communication skills, and the ability to guide technical teams while ensuring system reliability and quality delivery across the SDLC.
Required / Mandatory Skills:
  • Strong hands-on experience with Smalltalk programming
  • Excellent Object-Oriented Programming (OOPS) concepts
  • Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Experience in technical design using MVC design patterns
  • Ability to independently handle client-facing communication
  • Strong analytical skills to understand and document legacy systems
