Position Summary:
Design and implement telemetry solutions for Java-based applications and distributed systems.
Develop metrics, logs, traces, and monitoring frameworks using industry-standard observability platforms.
Configure and maintain OpenTelemetry instrumentation across applications and services.
Build dashboards, alerts, and reporting mechanisms to provide operational visibility.
Analyze system behavior and identify performance bottlenecks using telemetry data.
Site Reliability Engineering
Define and track Service Level Indicators (SLIs), Service Level Objectives (SLOs), and Error Budgets.
Improve application availability, resiliency, scalability, and reliability.
Automate incident detection, root cause analysis, and operational processes.
Participate in production support, incident management, and post-incident reviews.
Implement proactive monitoring and alerting strategies.
Java Development
Develop and enhance Java-based applications and telemetry integrations.
Optimize application performance through profiling and performance tuning.
Create reusable frameworks, libraries, and APIs for observability and monitoring.
Develop automation tools using Java and scripting languages.
Cloud & DevOps
Deploy and manage telemetry solutions across cloud environments.
Integrate observability tools within CI/CD pipelines.
Collaborate with DevOps, Platform Engineering, and Development teams to ensure reliability best practices.
Support containerized and microservices-based architectures."
