Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and development of enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Kafka, and AWS.
  • Define technical architecture, solution patterns, coding standards, and engineering best practices.
  • Provide technical direction and mentorship to development teams.
  • Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and design walkthroughs.
  • Drive technical decision-making and technology roadmaps.

Appl ication Development

  • Design and develop scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Build reusable frameworks and shared components.
  • Develop REST APIs and event-driven services.
  • Implement fault-tolerant and high-availability solutions.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.

Kafka & Event-Driven Architecture

  • Design and implement Kafka-based event streaming solutions.
  • Create producers, consumers, and stream-processing applications.
  • Define topic strategies, partitioning, retention policies, and message schemas.
  • Monitor and optimize Kafka cluster performance.
  • Implement asynchronous integration patterns and real-time data processing.

AWS Cloud Engineering

  • Design and deploy cloud-native applications on AWS.
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Build highly available and scalable cloud solutions.
  • Optimize cloud cost, security, and operational efficiency.
  • Support cloud migration and modernization initiatives.

API & Integration Development

  • Design enterprise-grade RESTful APIs.
  • Develop secure integration solutions with internal and external systems.
  • Implement API security, authentication, and authorization mechanisms.
  • Build integration services using event-based and synchronous communication patterns.

DevOps & CI/CD

  • Establish CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment.
  • Implement DevSecOps practices.

  • Improve release quality through automation and monitoring.

Delivery & Team Management

  • Lead distributed onshore/offshore development teams.
  • Estimate project efforts and participate in release planning.

  • Support Agile ceremonies and sprint execution.
