Project / Initiative Summary
We are seeking a Senior Java Spring Boot Developer to support the design, development, and modernization of enterprise applications and APIs. The resource will work within an Agile team responsible for building scalable, secure, cloud-ready solutions that support critical business capabilities. This role involves developing microservices, implementing API integrations, improving application performance, and supporting ongoing digital transformation initiatives.
Top Responsibilities
1. Design, develop, and maintain Java Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, business analysts, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Develop scalable and secure applications following enterprise development standards and best practices.
- Participate in architecture discussions, application design reviews, and code reviews.
- Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective solutions.
- Develop automated unit, integration, and performance tests.
- Support CI/CD pipeline implementation and DevOps practices.
- Integrate applications with databases, messaging platforms, and external systems.
- Contribute to cloud migration and modernization efforts where applicable.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
