We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Microservices Developer with 10+ years of experience in Java application development, Spring Boot, microservices, REST/SOAP web services, AWS, and relational databases. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, testing, and supporting scalable enterprise applications in an Agile environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications using Java 8/11/17.
• Develop scalable and resilient microservices using Spring Boot.
• Work with Spring Boot modules including ORM, Integration, Batch, and Services.
• Apply strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and design patterns.
• Develop and integrate REST/SOAP web services using JSON and XML.
• Implement persistence solutions using JPA/Hibernate.
• Design and optimize SQL queries and database interactions.
• Work with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, Sybase, or SQL Server.
• Develop and deploy applications using AWS services including ECS, EC2, Serverless, ElastiCache, Route 53, ALB, VPC, and Security Groups.
• Use GitHub for source control and collaborate effectively through branching, pull requests, and code reviews.
• Build and manage projects using Maven.
• Follow Test-Driven Development (TDD) and develop maintainable, high-quality code.
• Participate in Agile/iterative development and follow the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Troubleshoot application issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate closely with technical architects, project managers, business analysts, QA, and development teams.
• Research technical issues independently and communicate solutions clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Core Java and Java application development using Java 8, 11, and/or 17.
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Microservices.
• Strong understanding of OOP, SOA, REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML.
• Hands-on experience with JPA/Hibernate.
• Strong AWS experience with ECS, EC2, Serverless, ElastiCache, Route 53, ALB, VPC, and Security Groups.
• Experience with GitHub and Maven.
• Strong SQL and experience with at least one RDBMS: PostgreSQL, Oracle, Sybase, or SQL Server.
• Experience with TDD and Agile methodologies.
• Experience working through the complete SDLC.
• Familiarity with tools such as PGAdmin, Insomnia, and GitHub GUI.
