Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Java Lead / Senior Java Developer with strong hands-on development experience to join our team in Alpharetta, GA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java application development, enterprise applications, and leading technical initiatives while continuing to contribute significantly to coding and development activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in the design, development, testing, and deployment of Java-based applications.
- Provide technical leadership and hands-on development support to the team.
- Develop scalable, high-performance, and maintainable applications using Java and related technologies.
- Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot application issues and provide effective technical solutions.
- Collaborate with architects, business analysts, QA teams, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and execution.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers.
- Ensure application quality, performance, security, and reliability.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Core Java, Java/J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs / Microservices.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with application development, debugging, and performance tuning.
- Experience with Git and CI/CD practices.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment while taking technical ownership.
