Location : Dallas, TX / Charlotte, NC (Hybrid)
Rate : $60/hr

Detailed JD:
We are looking for an experienced Java J2EE & React Developer Lead with strong full stack experience who can provide strong technical leadership, drive high quality development, and oversee production deployments. The role involves frequent client interaction and requires on site presence for the majority of the work week. The ideal candidate will also have hands on knowledge of prompt engineering to effectively utilize AI tools for improving development productivity and code quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Java/J2EE backend services and REST APIs
• Build responsive React-based UI components
• Integrate applications with IAM solutions for authentication and authorization
• Implement SSO, OAuth2, OIDC, SAML, JWT based security
• Collaborate with IAM, DevOps, and cross functional teams
• Support production issues and follow secure coding practices

• Oversee and manage production deployments, ensuring seamless releases and quick resolution of deployment issues.
• Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and security practices.
• Collaborate closely with client stakeholders, product owners, and cross-functional teams.
• Use AI coding assistants (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT) through effective prompt engineering to improve development speed, code generation, debugging, and documentation.
• Identify technical risks and propose solutions proactively.
• Drive continuous improvement in development processes, automation, and team efficiency.

• Mentor and upskill junior developers

Required Skills

• Java/J2EE: Core Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Hibernate/JPA
• Frontend: React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, CSS
• Security/IAM: OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SAML, JWT, LDAP
• APIs & Tools: REST APIs, Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins
• Databases: Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL (or similar)

Good to Have

• Exposure to Docker/Kubernetes
• Agile/Scrum experience
