Duration: 6 Months
Pay Range: $35 - $40/Hour on W2/C2C (All inclusive)

Introduction

We are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Developer to join our team for a 6-month contract. The role involves working closely with business analysts and users to understand requirements and translate them into technical designs. This position requires a strong background in Java development and a proven track record in delivering software applications.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8 years of experience in Java full stack development
• 2 years of experience with Kafka
• Strong knowledge of Java 1.8
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming
• Strong knowledge of web service models: SOAP, OData, REST
• Strong knowledge of GIT and Apache Maven
• Experience with Oracle and SQL Server as backend systems preferred
• Knowledge of JavaScript and jQuery
• Experience with 3rd party JavaScript libraries such as Angular JS, Knockout JS, jQuery UI, or similar preferred
• Experience with TFS and Git preferred
• Prior work experience at client or in client's industry

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Spring and Rest API
• USAA experience preferred
• Good communication skills

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Responsible for the analysis, design, development, and deployment of software applications
• Work with business analysts and users to understand requirements and translate them into technical designs
• Execute product specification, system design, development, and system integration
• Develop new product concepts and deliver product prototypes
• Conduct new technology research, concept specifications, and design of individual software components
• Participate in product and program collaboration
• Refactor implementations to standardize an event-driven architecture
• Refactor web applications and services to be completely stateless and cloud-ready
• Coordinate with offshore and USAA stakeholders
• 100% deliverables ownership
