    Job Description
    We are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Java 17, Angular, Spring Boot, RESTful API development, and SQL-based systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and coding laboratory instrument interfaces that automate communication between scientific instruments and enterprise applications. This role requires hands-on experience in full SDLC, strong understanding of object-oriented principles, and the ability to collaborate with vendors, laboratory SMEs, and internal teams to evaluate instrument communication protocols and build high-quality, scalable software solutions.

    Responsibilities

    • Analyze vendor documentation and collaborate with instrument vendors and lab SMEs to understand communication specifications.
    • Design, develop, and unit test instrument interfaces using Java 17, Spring Boot, and Angular within an existing framework.
    • Participate in the full SDLC, including requirements review, feasibility analysis, coding, testing support, and deployment.
    • Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot performance issues, and optimize existing modules for stability and reliability.
    • Serve as SME for implemented interfaces, supporting enhancements, issue resolution, and impact assessment.
    • Collaborate with team members to maintain coding best practices and architectural standards.
    • Communicate project risks, delays, and solutions directly to the Team Lead.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the development team.

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
    • Minimum 9 years of hands-on experience in Java software engineering.
    • Strong proficiency in Java 17, Spring Boot, Angular, Maven, REST API design, Git, SQL, JPA/ORM.
    • Deep understanding of object-oriented design, multi-tier architectures, and relational databases.
    • Experience with MS SQL Server, XML, JSON, JUnit, Hibernate, and T-SQL/PL-SQL.
    • Ability to write and evaluate technical specifications and design documentation.
    • Desired: Experience with medical systems, ASTM, HL7.
