We are looking for a highly experienced, hands-on Senior Full Stack Java Engineer to join the Concourse application team supporting a large-scale payment platform.

This role is suited for a senior engineer who can independently analyze requirements, design and develop solutions, make sound technical decisions, and take ownership of deliverables with minimal supervision.

You will contribute across the full software development lifecycle, including application design, development, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and production support.

Technical Requirements

Backend Development (60 70% Primary Focus)

Strong hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot.

REST API and Microservices development.

Application design and architecture.

Database design, integration, and performance tuning.

Frontend Development (30 40%)

Node.js and UI development experience.

Ability to independently implement frontend changes.

Cloud & DevOps

AWS Cloud Services and Amazon EKS.

Cloud deployment and production support.

CI/CD pipelines and Jenkins.

Exposure to Spinnaker is beneficial.

Database

Oracle experience.

PostgreSQL is preferred.

Database design and data modeling.

Quality Engineering & Testing

Unit, Integration, and API Testing.

Test Automation Frameworks and Test Case Development.

Ability to independently write and maintain automated tests.

Production Support

Production issue investigation and resolution.

Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and log analysis.

Performance and cloud deployment troubleshooting.

Ability to resolve production defects independently and recommend preventive improvements.

AI-Assisted Development & Modern Engineering Practices

Practical experience working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI-assisted development tools.

Familiarity with GitHub Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, or similar tools.

Ability to effectively leverage AI tools to improve development productivity, code quality, and modernization efforts.
