Job Description/ Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade web applications using Java and modern frontend technologies.
• Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Develop responsive and user-friendly UI components using Angular, React, or similar frameworks.
• Create scalable backend services using Spring Boot and related Spring Framework modules.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and architects to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
• Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following coding standards and best practices.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews to ensure software quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application performance, security, and scalability issues.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and support automated deployments.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases to design, optimize, and maintain data models.
• Support production deployments and participate in incident resolution when required.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in software development with Java/J2EE technologies.

• Experience with No SQL DB esp. MongoDB

• Proficiency with Git-based source control systems.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience with Copilot, Devin, Windsurf for AI prompting, Spec Driven development
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized deployments.
• Knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging platforms.
• Experience with GraphQL and API gateway technologies.
