Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Java FSD for a Contract with a client in Princeton, NJ. The ideal candidate with expertise designing, developing, and supporting enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and modern frontend technologies.

Rate Range: $45/hour to $48/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Java FSD Job Responsibilities include:

  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Microservices to support scalable and high-performance business solutions.

  • Build and enhance applications leveraging Photon Framework and Enterprise Services Platform (ESP) while ensuring seamless integration across enterprise systems.

  • Develop and consume RESTful APIs, integrating internal and external applications to enable efficient data exchange and business processes.

  • Create responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using ReactJS/Angular, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.

  • Participate in application modernization, performance optimization, production support, code reviews, and unit testing to ensure application reliability and quality.

  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA, and DevOps teams throughout the SDLC while supporting CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native application initiatives.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.

  • 8-10 years of experience in Java Full Stack Development building enterprise-scale applications and microservices-based solutions.

  • Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Photon Framework, and Enterprise Services Platform (ESP).

  • Proficiency in ReactJS or Angular, REST API development, CI/CD pipelines, cloud-native application development, and enterprise system integrations.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $48.00 per hour
