Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Java Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, databases, and cloud-based application development.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build scalable and secure RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Participate in application architecture, technical design, development, and production support.
- Develop high-quality, reusable, and maintainable Java code.
- Integrate applications with databases, third-party services, and enterprise systems.
- Work with development, QA, DevOps, and business teams to deliver application solutions.
- Troubleshoot performance, integration, and production issues.
- Implement unit testing, code reviews, and software engineering best practices.
- Participate in CI/CD and cloud deployment processes.
- Analyze existing applications and contribute to modernization initiatives.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
- Strong experience with Java 8/11/17+.
- Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Framework.
- Hands-on experience developing microservices and REST APIs.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with JPA/Hibernate.
- Experience with Kafka or other messaging technologies.
- Strong understanding of OOP, Design Patterns, and SOLID principles.
- Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins, and CI/CD.
- Knowledge of AWS or Azure cloud environments.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with AWS/Azure cloud-native application development.
- Knowledge of React/Angular is a plus.
- Experience working in financial services/banking environments.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
