Duration: 6 Months
Pay Range: $35 - $40/Hour on W2/C2C (All inclusive)

Introduction

We are seeking an experienced professional to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and cloud-native development using AWS services. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to build high-performance applications, implement cloud solutions, and support DevOps practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong experience in Core Java, Collections, Multithreading, and Concurrency.
  • Hands-on experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security.
  • Expertise in Microservices Architecture.
  • Experience with REST APIs, JSON, and API integration.
  • Strong knowledge of AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS/EKS, and more.
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Knowledge of messaging systems like Kafka, RabbitMQ, or AWS SQS.
  • Experience with version control tools such as Git.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
  • Database skills in Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and DynamoDB.
  • Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • AWS Certification such as AWS Certified Developer Associate or AWS Solutions Architect Associate.
  • Experience working in Banking, Financial Services, or Capital Markets domains.
  • Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools like Splunk, ELK, Prometheus, and Grafana.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy Java-based applications using Java 8/11/17.
  • Build and maintain Spring Boot and Microservices architectures.
  • Develop RESTful APIs and integrate with third-party services.
  • Leverage AWS cloud services for application development and deployment.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Participate in system design, code reviews, and architecture discussions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application performance and scalability issues.
  • Ensure application security, reliability, and compliance with best practices.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and product owners in Agile/Scrum environments.
