Java Developer Position

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Maintain Java Applications: Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications and components according to business requirements and technical specifications.
• Database Integration: Create, modify, and optimize SQL queries and database structures to ensure smooth data integration and performance.
• Code Quality and Best Practices: Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while following industry best practices and coding standards.
• Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identify and resolve issues in both Java code and SQL queries, ensuring high-quality software delivery.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including other developers, product managers, and quality assurance engineers, to deliver cohesive solutions.
• Documentation: Document code, processes, and technical specifications to facilitate knowledge sharing and future maintenance.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to continually improve development practices and application performance.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience:
  • Proven experience as a Java Developer with a strong portfolio of projects.
  • Hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Java programming language and related frameworks (e.g., Spring, Hibernate).
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, including query writing, optimization, and database design.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Understanding of RESTful web services and APIs.
• Soft Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
