Akkodis is seeking a Java Developer for a Contract with a client in San Antonio, TX. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable applications while delivering CI/CD releases and collaborating with Agile teams, Product Owners, and Architects to drive successful project outcomes.
Rate Range: $45/hour to $46/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Java Developer Job Responsibilities include:
Design, develop, and maintain Java/Spring-based applications and services across the software development lifecycle.
Build and support REST APIs and Kafka-based integrations to enable scalable and reliable enterprise solutions.
Develop high-quality, testable, and efficient code while performing unit and integration testing to ensure application stability.
Prepare and deploy software releases through CI/CD pipelines following Release-when-Ready practices.
Actively participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Program Increment Planning, and Retrospectives.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Technical Leads, and business stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet project and business requirements.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
6 to 10 years of hands-on experience in Java application development.
Strong expertise in Java, Spring Framework/Spring Boot, Kafka, and REST API development with experience delivering applications in a CI/CD environment.
Experience working in SAFe Agile teams, participating in ceremonies, managing stories in JIRA, and collaborating with Product Owners, Architects, and technical stakeholders.

Pay Details: $45.00 to $46.00 per hour
