Java Developer

Required Skills: Java, Spring boot, Restful Web Services, EJB, SOAP Web Services with Open Liberty, OpenShift

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java (8 & 17), Spring Boot, and Code understanding & analyzing knowledge on EJB.
• Develop and expose RESTful & SOAP web services using Open Liberty.
• Deploy and manage applications on OpenShift using containerized environments.
• Ensure high code quality by implementing JUnit test cases, achieving strong SonarQube code coverage, and following best security vulnerability fixes.
• Use Swagger for API documentation and ensure API compliance.
• Lead a team of developers, conduct code reviews, and provide technical guidance.
• Manage and optimize CI/CD pipelines using GitLab.
• Work on security best practices, including fixing vulnerabilities in dependencies and application code.
• Utilize GitHub Copilot (or similar AI-assisted tools) to improve development speed and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including QA, Client Application team to ensure smooth application deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance and scalability issues in production environments.
