Java Developer

Position Description

Our company Technology team is looking for LoanIQ developer to join a technologically advanced team to work towards ETRADE integration work. Candidate will interface on a regular basis with other teams including other internal IT teams across Wealth Management, BA team, QA team, and offshore development team. The candidate must have good communication skills and be able work with both users and lead IT team members in a highly collaborative team environment. To be successful, the role will require the individual to understand the banking technology landscape, and to offer creative solutions that integrate current capabilities and proprietary system builds.

Job Functions/Duties and Responsibilities

Implement and develop core Java applications as well as multi-tiered Java EE-style applications

Integrate Loan IQ with related technologies, including Spring, Oracle, and other firm proprietary software

Perform critical technical analysis, code in Loan IQ SDK, and ensure that deliverables are completed within the stipulated timeframe.

Candidate should design new solutions that are scalable and yield to high architectural standards.

Document business and functional requirements, including data flow, business rules, and use cases/ stories

Work as part of a banking Agile Squad / Fleet.

Assess the impact of changes on existing business and technology processes, as well as other interfacing systems.

Code batch jobs using proprietary framework and conduct code reviews.

Candidate will interface with global team of developers and business users.
