Java Developer for a
contract assignment with one of our premier
Financial Services clients in
New York, NY.

• Client unable to do employer layers Responsibilities :
- Design and develop microservices using Java and Spring Boot that integrate with external systems through its APIs, interfaces, and messaging channels.
- There are lot of excel tools that need enhancement, VBA expertise is very important to have.
- Build and maintain Kafka-based messaging/streaming pipelines to support real-time data exchange between
- Deploy, manage, and optimize integration services within an AWS cloud environment.
- Collaborate with platform teams, architects, and business analysts to define integration contracts, data flows, and error-handling strategies.
- Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and troubleshooting of production issues related to tools.
- Support testing phases (unit, integration, UAT) and help define Day-2 support processes for the tools.
- Document technical designs, data flows, and integration patterns for knowledge transfer and audit purposes.
Required Skills:
- Java/J2EE, Spring boot, microservices, Kafka, VBA Scripting (they have a lot of Excel tools, so they do need to have experience with VBA and Macros).
Preferred Skil:- AWS (Cloud migration)
- Prior banking or financial services experience
