We service clients in SLED (state/local gov't & education), financial services, fortune, public utility, as well as regularly partnering with Big 4 SI partners.

Job Title: Java Developer (Angular + AWS)
Location: Philadelphia, PA (Onsite) 3 days per week
Employment Type: Contract (W2 Only)

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Java Developer to support a Client project team in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance Java-based applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Angular, and AWS, along with experience working in scalable, enterprise-level environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and high-performance Java applications
  • Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Perform unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure application reliability
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards
  • Develop reusable components and frameworks
  • Stay up to date with emerging technologies and recommend improvements
Required Skills
  • Strong hands-on experience in Java development
  • Advanced experience with Angular (6–9 years)
  • Advanced experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services)
  • Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud-based development
  • Experience with version control tools like Git
Experience Requirements
  • 6–9 years of overall Java development experience
  • 1–2 years of experience in a Lead or senior-level role
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Investment and Retirement domain
  • Exposure to enterprise-level application development
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Work Requirements
  • Must be able to work onsite in Philadelphia, PA
  • Must be eligible to work on W2 (No C2C/1099)
Pay rate: $41/hr - $46.77/hr on W2
