Java Developer

Job Overview:
Seeking for a Java Developer to provide advanced analysis, design, development, enhancements, implementation, and support for complex software systems. You will act as a subject matter expert for Oracle Commerce Cloud and related subsystems, supporting various platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Develop within Oracle systems for various platforms, either individually or as part of a team.
- Analyze existing code, plan, design, develop, and debug solutions.
- Conduct testing and document work within the agency's change management system.
- Research and evaluate new products for integration, ensuring effective communication with diverse technical teams.
- Conduct peer reviews and adhere to Change Management guidelines.
- Estimate effort levels for service requests and enhancements, document, and present them for prioritization.
- Support nonproduction environments for testing and maintain clean environments.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for owned and integrated systems.
- Evaluate and advise on changes to application software and technical solutions.
- Provide status reports on individual and project performance.
- Assist in software product assessments and recommendations.
- Investigate and debug problems and defects in supported systems.
- Perform maintenance activities, often outside regular hours.
- Monitor system performance and implement solutions for operational deficiencies.
- Ensure security and quality assurance measures in cooperation with other IT staff.
- Adhere to established standards, policies, and procedures for testing, security, and development.
- Document design decisions, requirements, and estimations with IT staff and business end users.
