Job Title: Backend Java Developer (Junior-Mid Level)

Workplace: Edgewater Park, NJ (On-site, 5 days/week)

We are partnering with a growing organization seeking a Backend Java Developer (junior to mid-level) to join a collaborative engineering team in a fully on-site environment. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced setting and enjoys working within a lean, Agile team structure.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Java
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support application development and enhancements
• Contribute to system architecture, performance optimization, and code quality
• Participate in troubleshooting, debugging, and production support as needed
• Work in an evolving environment with shifting priorities and business needs

Qualifications

• 2-5+ years of backend Java development experience
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles
• Experience building and supporting APIs or backend services
• Familiarity with Agile development practices
• Ability to work effectively in a highly collaborative, in-person environment
• Self-starter mindset with strong problem-solving skills

Work Environment

• Fully on-site, Monday-Friday
