Your Role

Akkodis is seeking a Java Developer for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI (Hybrid). The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying enterprise applications across the full software development lifecycle.

Rate Range: $55/Hour to $65/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Java Developer Job Responsibilities include:

  • Design, develop, deploy, and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Angular, and Spring Boot technologies.

  • Develop and integrate REST APIs, web services, and 3DEXPERIENCE platform solutions to support business and product requirements.

  • Participate in system integration, testing, troubleshooting, and performance optimization to ensure high-quality software delivery.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to deliver product roadmap milestones and continuous enhancements.

  • Build and support cloud-based solutions on GCP, including integration with BigQuery, DataFlow, and GCS, while leveraging CI/CD pipelines.

  • Support MLOps and DevOps initiatives by managing code repositories, resolving merge conflicts, automating deployments, and utilizing tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field; master's degree preferred.

  • Minimum 3+ years of progressive IT experience, including at least 2 years of hands-on experience with Angular and Spring Boot.

  • Strong experience with full stack Java development (Java 11, Angular 8, Spring Boot 2.x), REST API integration, GitHub, Jenkins, and relational databases.

  • Experience with GCP services, cloud-native development, CI/CD pipelines, and system integrations using REST APIs and web services.

Pay Details: $55.00 to $65.00 per hour
