We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer with 8 10 years of expertise in designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-scale Java applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Microservices, REST APIs, Hibernate, and modern DevOps practices. This role involves building scalable, high-performance applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior developers in an Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise Java/J2EE applications.
- Build scalable RESTful APIs and Microservices using Spring Boot.
- Develop clean, reusable, and maintainable code following coding standards.
- Design and implement integrations with internal and external systems.
- Develop unit, integration, and automated test cases.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform defect analysis.
- Ensure application security, scalability, and performance.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate with architects, QA teams, business analysts, and stakeholders.
- Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of experience in Java/J2EE application development.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and Hibernate.
- Strong expertise in REST API development and Microservices architecture.
- Experience with Java 8/11/17 and advanced Java concepts.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with Git, Maven/Gradle, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with cloud-native application development.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Knowledge of Kafka or other messaging platforms.
- Experience with SonarQube, Jenkins, or similar DevOps tools.
- Understanding of security best practices such as OAuth2 and JWT.
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
