Java Cloud & AI Solutions Architect

Our client, a Biotech company, is looking for a Java Cloud & AI Solutions Architect for their Minneapolis, MN/ Remote location.

Responsibilities:

• Architect, design, and deliver enterprise-scale applications using Java and Spring technologies.
• Lead development of microservices, REST APIs, GraphQL services, and event-driven solutions.
• Build and deploy cloud-native applications on Azure and/or AWS.
• Integrate Generative AI and LLM capabilities using platforms such as Azure OpenAI, OpenAI/GPT, Spring AI, and GitHub Copilot.
• Drive DevSecOps best practices, CI/CD automation, infrastructure as code, and security compliance.
• Provide technical leadership, mentor development teams, conduct design/code reviews, and manage delivery risks and dependencies.

Requirements:

• We are seeking a highly experienced Java Cloud & AI Solutions Architect with 12+ years of enterprise application development and architecture experience. This role will lead the design and delivery of scalable cloud-native solutions, modern microservices architectures, and AI-enabled applications supporting a large healthcare technology program.
• 12+ years of Java development and solution architecture experience.
• Expertise in Java 17/21, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Hibernate, JPA, and microservices architecture.
• Strong experience with Azure and/or AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with Kafka, REST APIs, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, Redis, and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of Generative AI/LLM integration and AI-enabled application development.
• Strong technical leadership and stakeholder communication skills.
• Experience with React, Angular, or other modern front-end frameworks.
• Healthcare industry experience.
• Hands-on experience with DevSecOps tools such as Sonar, Fortify, Black Duck, or FOSSA.
