Java Azure Developer

Our client, a IT Services and Consulting company, is looking for a GeoSpatial Developer Java for their Chicago, IL/Hybrid location.
 
Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement high-quality software solutions using Azure, React JS, SQL, Spring Boot, Java, and JavaScript to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to design, develop, and deploy scalable applications that enhance user experience.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications by conducting thorough testing and debugging.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
• Utilize Oracle SQL for database management, ensuring data integrity and optimizing database performance.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share best practices with the development team.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve software development processes.
• Implement security and data protection measures to safeguard the company and user data.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of the development of the lifecycle by identifying and addressing areas for enhancement.
• Work closely with product managers to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that align with business objectives.
• Document software designs, technical specifications, and user guides to support ongoing maintenance and future development.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to ensure smooth operation of applications.
• Engage in agile development practices, participating in sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
• Communication skills must be good to be able to communicate with Client Tech and Business Stakeholders
• Coordination with the offshore developer teams and resolve technical issues promptly
