Job responsibilities:

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with strong AWS expertise to design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performance applications. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, REST APIs, and AWS cloud services, along with a solid understanding of cloud-native application development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust Java-based applications.
• Develop scalable microservices and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement cloud-native solutions on AWS.
• Work with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, ECS/EKS, and IAM.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, or CodeBuild.
• Troubleshoot production issues and participate in root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, DevOps engineers, QA teams, and other developers.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.
• Write unit and integration tests and maintain high code quality.
• Contribute to technical design, architecture discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong proficiency in Java 8/11/17+ and object-oriented programming.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
• Strong experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services(AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, API Gateway, CloudWatch, ECS/EKS, and IAM).
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, preferably AWS EKS.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB or MongoDB.
• Experience with messaging technologies such as AWS SQS/SNS, Kafka, or RabbitMQ.
• Proficiency with Git and modern software development practices.
• Understanding of distributed systems, scalability, resiliency, and cloud-native architecture.
• Strong debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills.
