    Introduction

    This role involves leading the design, delivery, and day-to-day operations of enterprise Java applications, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with business goals. The position bridges development and production, owning both the technical quality of what gets built and the reliability of what runs in live environments.

    Required Skills & Qualifications

    • Java Architecture
    • Cloud Platform - AWS, Azure, or GCP (Preferred)
    • Angular UI
    • Hands-on proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, DevOps, and API Management
    • Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry

    Day-to-Day Responsibilities

    • Own end-to-end application design and delivery for enterprise Java solutions, from development through production support.
    • Apply and enforce technology standards, frameworks, and development best practices within the team.
    • Lead delivery of microservices, API, and cloud integration initiatives within defined architectural guidelines.
    • Implement AI/ML-powered features, including Generative AI, into enterprise applications under architectural guidance.
    • Ensure application scalability, performance, security, and reliability across development and production environments.
    • Lead production support and operations, act as the primary escalation point for incidents, drive root cause analysis, and coordinate post-mortems.
    • Maintain and improve monitoring, alerting, and observability for owned applications (logging, tracing, dashboards).
    • Coordinate with SRE, platform, and DevOps teams on deployment pipelines, on-call schedules, and incident response.
    • Work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and QA to manage delivery and resolve production issues quickly.
    • Participate in architecture and code reviews, ensuring quality and consistency across the team's output.
    • Mentor junior and mid-level developers, instilling good engineering and operational practices.
    • Stay current on relevant technologies and flag opportunities for improvement within the team's scope.
