Job Title:Java Architect
Location: Chicago, IL(75001) — Within 50 Miles
Salary Range: $65/hr on W2 – $70/hr on W2
Required Skills & Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in Java development, with strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Distributed Systems
Strong experience in Java architecture, solution design, and technical leadership
Proven experience designing and implementing scalable, highly available, and resilient applications
Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services and cloud-native application architecture
Expertise in design patterns, system design, application architecture, and integration design
Experience designing and implementing REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise application integrations
Ability to define technical architecture, evaluate technology solutions, and make architecture-level decisions
Hands-on experience leading technical discussions, reviewing designs, mentoring developers, and ensuring coding standards
Strong understanding of performance optimization, scalability, security, and reliability in distributed systems
Must be able to provide concrete examples of systems personally architected and explain key design decisions, trade-offs, and implementation approaches
Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills
