About the Position


A long-established, community-focused Japanese clinic in Torrance, California, is seeking a full-time Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician.


The clinic has provided high-quality primary care to the local community for many years. We welcome physicians who value patient-centered care and can provide thoughtful, attentive medical services to a diverse patient population.


Candidates may be board-certified in either Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.


Key Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient primary care for acute illnesses and chronic medical conditions
  
  
• Diagnose and manage a broad range of general medical conditions
  
  
• Provide preventive care, health screenings, and routine physical examinations
  
  
• Develop individualized treatment and follow-up plans
  
  
• Coordinate referrals to specialists when appropriate
  
  
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records
  
  
• Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and their families
  
  
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, medical assistants, and administrative staff
  
  
• Perform related administrative and patient-care duties
  
  

No hospital rounds or on-call responsibilities. This is an outpatient-only position.


Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
  
  
• Board Certification in either:
  
  
  • Internal Medicine through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), or
    
    
  • Family Medicine through the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM)
    
    
• Active and unrestricted California Medical License
  
  
• Valid DEA Certificate in good standing
  
  
• Professional proficiency in Japanese
  
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  
  
• Ability to provide compassionate, patient-centered care
  
  
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  
  
• Authorization to work in the United States
  
  

Work Schedule


Monday through Friday
9:00 AM–5:00 PM (Clinic closes from 12pm - 2pm)


Compensation


$230,000–$260,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications


Final compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate’s professional background, clinical experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the position.
