Japanese food distribution company located in Commerce, California, is seeking a bilingual Japanese-English Marketing Assistant. This position supports the marketing and sales teams through data management and analysis, report preparation, food show coordination, and communication with customers and vendors. 

 

•  Manage and customize internal and external data 
•  Track sales progress and prepare reports for team meetings 
•  Maintain the product image database 
•  Provide syndicated data support and analysis using Circana 
•  Work with the Marketing Manager to coordinate logistics and execution for industry food shows 
•  Assist Account Managers with communication among customers, vendors, and branch sales teams 
•  Support grocery space planning and product placement 
•  Manage and follow up with smaller accounts 
•  Perform other related duties as assigned 

 

•  Bilingual proficiency in Japanese and English 
•  Previous office experience required 
•  Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and Access 
•  Proficient typing and 10-key skills 
•  Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
•  Strong attention to detail 
•  Excellent organizational and time-management skills 
•  Dependable and responsible work ethic 
•  Ability to maintain accuracy and organization under tight deadlines 
•  Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
