Purpose of the Position
The position performs custodial work in offices, warehouses, industrial areas and other building interiors and is responsible for all basic cleaning. The location of the position is in Newton, NJ and may require daily travel between buildings.
Essential Job Functions include the following, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for cleaning floors and rooms as well as restrooms, breakrooms, and all common areas. This includes restocking dispensers, emptying trash/replacing liners, cleaning and sanitizing fixtures, cleaning mirrors, doors and walls, vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping tile floors, and cleaning toilets and urinals.
- Sets up, stocks, and maintains cleaning equipment and supplies.
- Monitors and maintains sanitation and organization of assigned areas.
- Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests • Performs additional duties as needed.
In addition to the essential functions and duties listed above, all positions are also responsible for:
- Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work-related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures.
- Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments.
