Part Time & Full Time Janitorial Positions Available

Job Description

About us: Our company has been in business for over 40 years and continues to grow. We are currently looking to add a Part Time Janitorial worker to our existing team to help maintain our client’s commercial properties.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Perform proper cleaning methods, such as vacuuming, emptying trash, dusting, mopping, cleaning glass, cleaning floors, changing light bulbs, etc.
  • Responsible for the operation and maintenance of all cleaning equipment.
  • Responsible for the preparation of cleaning/sanitation solutions and cleaning materials to specifications.

Other Requirements:

  • Bilingual speaking VERY HELPFUL!
  • RELIABLE mode of transportation – Western and Northwestern Suburbs
  • Willingness to learn new concepts and demonstrate the ability to perform highly detailed work.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check
  • Open availability: Overtime work and schedule adjustments may be needed/necessary due to customer demands.

Job Highlights:

  • Starting rate $16.00 per hour
  • Use of company vehicle during work hours to travel to/from 2-6 accounts/jobsites throughout the week.

S&D Prime Maintenance Inc. provides a full line of maintenance services to commercial, industrial and residential buildings and properties throughout the Chicagoland area and primarily in the suburbs with our office and shop/warehouse located in Addison.

Our team consists of many field technicians who have a trade specialty but also have multiple and other trade experience and knowledge for the ability to maintain the overall buildings and properties we service.

We additionally have office and support staff to assist in perform the quoting, communication, technical support & researching, scheduling, materials & parts sourcing and pickup, and billing responsibilities with the technicians in the field.

The company primarily utilizes digital platforms for a majority of our services and procedures along with phones & tablets in the field for the technicians to keep up with the evolutions and advancements of our trades, properties, and growing customer base.

Our normal operating schedule is Monday through Friday with emergency/on-call services when needed on nights and weekends.
