The Fitness & Wellness Housekeeping Supervisor is an energetic, enthusiastic, and highly organized leader responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout fitness and wellness facilities. This role oversees housekeeping operations, janitorial staff, and cleanliness standards to ensure members, guests, and employees experience a world-class facility every day. The ideal candidate demonstrates exceptional attention to detail, strong leadership skills, and a proactive approach to maintaining facility appearance and sanitation.

Pay: $22

  • Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in housekeeping, janitorial services, hospitality, or facility

maintenance.

  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness standards.
  • Highly organized with strong planning, scheduling, and multitasking abilities.
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, and self-motivated with a positive attitude.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspect facilities, identify deficiencies, and implement corrective actions.
  • Experience with cleaning chemicals, janitorial equipment, and safe work practices.
  • Knowledge of sanitation, infection prevention, and workplace safety procedures.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and adapt to changing operational needs.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Experience in fitness facilities, recreation centers, healthcare, hospitality, or corporate campuses is a plus

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Conditions may require walking, stooping, climbing, pushing, pulling, heavy lifting (less than or equal to 50 pounds),

bending, working in awkward positions handling equipment and materials. Employees will be required to wear

protective clothing and/or respiratory equipment when conditions warrant.

  • To operate a vehicle at the customer's site, employees must obtain an ABM drivers permit per the ABM Drivers

Safety MVR registration program. This policy checks for a valid State ID along with a citation background check,

and those with high-risk driving habits will need additional driver education in order to obtain the permit.

Employees who operate company vehicles must consistently meet the requirements of the Facility Vehicle Safety

Program

  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and presentation throughout fitness centers, locker rooms, restrooms, wellness spaces, offices, and common areas.
  • Conduct routine facility inspections to ensure all areas consistently meet cleanliness and safety expectations.
  • Supervise, coach, and direct housekeeping personnel to ensure work is completed efficiently and to established standards.
  • Assign daily tasks and adjust staffing priorities based on facility usage, events, and operational demands.
  • Monitor cleaning quality and provide immediate feedback and corrective action when standards are not met.
  • Ensure locker rooms, showers, restrooms, and high-touch surfaces are cleaned, sanitized, and stocked throughout the day.
  • Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and consumables; coordinate replenishment as needed.
  • Respond promptly to service requests, spills, safety concerns, and cleaning emergencies.
  • Train team members on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, chemical handling, and customer service expectations.
  • Develop cleaning schedules and ensure all routine, periodic, and deep-cleaning tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Promote a positive, professional, and service-oriented culture among housekeeping staff.
  • Identify facility deficiencies, equipment issues, and maintenance concerns and report them promptly.
  • Monitor compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and sanitation requirements.
  • Support special events, fitness programs, and wellness initiatives by ensuring facilities are prepared before, during, and after use.
  • Lead by example through active participation in cleaning operations and visible engagement with staff and facility users
