Janitorial and Maintenance staff are responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of the community’s common areas in accordance with the contractual obligations of the Association. This role supports both routine janitorial functions and light maintenance duties, reporting directly to the onsite Maintenance Supervisor. 
<\/p>

Normal working schedule is 40 hours/week; 7:00 am to 3:30pm with 1/2 hour for lunch.

Roles and Responsibilities
<\/p>

  • Perform daily inspections of common areas, including restrooms, clubhouse, lobbies, and walkways, ensuring cleanliness and tidiness.
    <\/li>
  • Empty trash receptacles and dispose of debris throughout the property.
    <\/li>
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, clubhouse facilities, and common area furnishings regularly.
    <\/li>
  • Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in designated indoor and outdoor common spaces.
    <\/li>
  • Clean windows, light fixtures, walls, and doors in common areas.
    <\/li>
  • Report any damage or maintenance needs (e.g., leaks, broken tiles, faulty lighting) to the Maintenance Supervisor.
    <\/li>
  • Replace light bulbs and batteries in common areas as needed.
    <\/li>
  • Assist with setup and breakdown of association events, including tables, chairs, and cleaning before and after.
    <\/li>
  • Comply with all safety protocols and report unsafe conditions immediately.
    <\/li>
  • Assist with minor touch -up painting or simple repairs when directed.
    <\/li>
  • Provide a positive and respectful presence while working in resident areas.
    <\/li>
  • Perform additional task as assigned i.e. arranging pool furniture each morning, washing pool furniture as needed, pressure washing walkways as needed, etc.

  • Occasional minor projects
    <\/li>
  • Empty and restock dog waste stations throughout the community to ensure cleanliness and availability of bags.
    <\/li>
  • Strong customer service, communication both orally and in writing, and interpersonal skills required.
    <\/li>
  • Work independently with limited supervision.
    <\/li>
  • Other duties as assigned by the Manager.

    Job Type: Full -time

    Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
    <\/p>

    Expected hours: 40 per week
