We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Industrial Sewer to join our production team. In this role, you will operate industrial sewing machines to manufacture and assemble pillows, comforters, mattress pads, and other fabric-based products. The ideal candidate has experience working with industrial sewing equipment, can maintain consistent quality standards, and thrives in a fast-paced warehouse or manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Cleaning & Sanitization
Sweep, mop, and vacuum warehouse floors; clean work areas, break rooms, and restrooms.
Sanitize high-touch surfaces and restrooms; empty trash and recycling bins.
Wash windows, mirrors, and other frequently used surfaces.
Maintenance & Repairs
Perform minor repairs such as replacing light bulbs, tightening handrails, or fixing small leaks.
Report and document maintenance or safety issues to management.
Equipment & Supplies
Operate cleaning equipment (e.g., floor scrubbers, sweepers, vacuums) safely.
Restock cleaning supplies and maintain equipment in good condition.
Safety & Compliance
Follow warehouse-specific safety protocols and handle cleaning chemicals according to Material Safety Data Sheets.
Ensure the facility is secure after cleaning tasks.
Additional Duties
Assist with general warehouse organization or inventory tasks as needed.
Maintain cleaning logs and records
Qualifications
Ability to lift up to ~50 lbs, stand/walk/bend for long periods.
Previous janitorial or sanitation experience preferred.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safe handling.
Attention to detail, reliability, and ability to work independently or as part of a team
